The mission of the STARS program is to enhance the understanding and augment the application of the philosophy and processes of science and mathematics for teachers and their students through expertly guided, real life experiences in inquiry and discovery. Accepted applicants will engage in a six-week immersive experience with the guidance of professional scientists, and the program culminates with students drafting formal scientific manuscripts and presenting their work and findings in a public forum.
