Faculty from the UMSL College of Education led more than 75 local educators in a 4-part workshop series, the September Start-Up Series, focused on strategies for digital learning. The primary goal of the series was to support educators in designing an engaging and inclusive classroom community. Topics included: getting to know your students, creating meaningful class discussions, designing hands-on global experiences, and creating opportunities for project-based learning. During each session, attendees created classroom activities, workshopped new tech tools, and connected with colleagues in content-specific breakout rooms led by UMSL faculty.
