Last week, 119 third- and fourth- year School of Dentistry students joined the UMKC pool of trained vaccinators ready to aid in vaccination events. 

The trained students will help vaccine providers including Truman Medical Centers, the UMKC Health Equity Insitute’s partnerships with area churches, and UMKC-wide vaccination events.

Students said the instructors made the training sessions clear and straightforward. Andrew White, a third-year student says, “It’s a little bit of time that could save lives.”
