NEW! Chancellor’s Certificate in Workplace Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

The Chancellor’s Certificate in Workplace Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) is a highly interactive, cohort-based, online professional development program that explores the concepts of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. This non-credit bearing program is open to all professionals in the Greater Saint Louis community.

ongoing: Participants must meet weekly deadlines to post to discussion board, but this can be done on individual schedules on or before the deadline.

Resource

Participation in this online, cohort-based program will help prepare participants to:

* be advocates and leader around diversity and inclusion issues

* work more effectively with people from different backgrounds

* make workplaces more welcoming and inclusive for everyone!

This credential will be of value in any job sector including business, education, public service, healthcare, etc.

COST: $450 (discounts available for UMSL employees, non-profit employees, and UMSL alumni)

In Spring 2022, ODEI launched its first professional development program open to the STL community. Participants in this pilot program represented a broad range of workplaces including law enforcement, healthcare, and education. This program will be offered again in Spring 2023.
